My rescue Savannah had an upset tummy My poor baby had an upset stomach last night and scared me to pieces. She vomited once on my kitchen floor prior to that she was shaking. yesterday also is the first time I've left her for a few hours and my son was home and I'm thinking maybe she was upset over this? she did vomit again last night when we were in bed I put her on a puppy pad and since then she's been fine. I did make her chicken and rice today and that so far it is staying down and she even went for a little walk this afternoon. She's 4 years old so for me its a big worry because I don't know her past if she had any issues with this. the only thing she will eat other than the chicken and rice is dick van patens natural balance moist food and my vet said it was ok to feed her this to keep her eating and healthy. she only likes two flavors chicken and rice or venison and rice even though she's fine now I'm still on edge and my daughters friend the vet tech is stopping by to calm me down. It just puts me over the edge this poor little dog can't help it her tummy is upset and is sooooo worried about being roughly handled over it...it breaks my heart I could tell she wasn't feeling right and I could feel her fear and was about to take her to the 24 hour clinic last night because she was shivering. Turns out she was trying with everything she had not to vomit and I hope today she knows its ok. I got out my paper towels with her there telling her its ok baby..mommy will get it see its ok while I cleaned it up. My heart is in such a knot its heart breaking to think anyone can be so mean to a dog who isn't feeling well. Poor Savannah's first instinct was to run and hide and get as far away as possible but thankfully the soft tone in my voice ..she stuck around

I sure hope she feels better soon. I know how hard it is for us to see them in pain and feeling sick.

How long have you had her ? Has she had a full blood work up done ? If not I would suggest you do that in the very near future. I hope your baby feels better now.

I've had her for 4 weeks now. we had the full blood work done on her as well as her poop sample 2 weeks ago. I felt better doing all of that because we didn't know her history and that all checked out amazing. We are going to schedule her spay for next week they did that as part of her blood test as well to make sure she could tolerate anaesthetic She didn't have a fever and she's full of pep and vinegar this morning even after a long night of rain and thunder. Last night my poor baby was so upset with all that awful noise from the storms she was shaking like a leaf. We had to move towards the middle of the bed and let her touch us both and cover her with the duvet.
