| Please help me through this tough time Hi all, I took my 4 yod Yorkie in today nc he was having peeing accidents. I thought it was a Uti. He's in surgery now! He had a bunch of bladder stones and two in his urethra which were very concerning. It was all so totally unexpected and I am sick with worry waiting. I have no IRL support and anxiety disorder too so this is ridiculously stressful. The vet doesn't have overnight staff so I will bring him to the er hospital for tonight. Idk when he will be home... I am so worried and this wait is unbearable. I am so afraid he will die. But I had to do this nc he was having trouble and if the ureter got blocked it would mean Er surgery with the potential for more complications. I am so anxious and trying to keepyself in check so I don't end up in the er myself. My husband is working and cannot help and my kids are trying but they are anxious too. We could really use some good thoughts and prayers coming our way. The fear and dread is tough to overcome. Thank you for caring. It all feel like a bad dream. Cheryl aka Ct yorke |

| I'm very sorry about your Yorkie, but you got help just like you should have and his chances of recovery are so extremely high. This surgery is performed quite a bit. He may be on a special diet for life, but that's not a big deal. The surgery won't take long and he'll be out of anesthesia very, very soon. The ER will just keep an eye on him and he'll probably come home tomorrow or the next day.

| Sending you prayers and wishes for a successful procedure and a quick healing. It sounds like you are doing a wonderful job looking out for your dog. It is very scary when they are in surgery but remember it is out of your hands and you are doing what is in the best interest of your dog. I commend you, you sound like you are staying strong is spite of your anxiety. Know that you have done all that you can do and leave the rest in god's hands.

| Call "your" doctor and see if you can get some meds for your anxiety. I suffer from anxiety, too, and I know it can be difficult for you to take care of your little guy if you don't take care of yourself. Wishing you and your little buddy the best. Hang in there, and like another poster said take some slow, deep breaths. |
