| Toby gets car sick so I give him 1/2 dramamine about 2 hours before we leave and it works great on a two hour ride that ends in hills and winding roads. Vet said 1/2 pill won't hurt him..........the non-drowsy formula.

| When I travel with my dogs I always give them Bonine. You can find this at Walgreens. Give Half a tab one hour prior to travel. Works wonders. |

| Before you try any kind of drugs.... give a carseat a try!!! A Snoozer car seat sits up so the dog can see out of the window easily.... they also make it a safe way to transport them in your car!...... I have read about many good results saying that the carseat helps with car sickness and for dogs that get nervous when in a vehicle. .......

| For a little one that gets car sick, try to avoid feeding them 2 hrs prior to going in the car. A car seat will also help. They can see out, plus they are safe in the case of an accident, because they are buckled in as well. Puppies that get sick usually outgrow it.

| Zach gets car sick when you put him in a car seat or a carrier but if he's sitting on somebody's lap he's fine. This is the reason I usually don't travel with Zach alone, usually have somebody with me. |

| We are planning a trip to TN this weekend and went to vet for Chloe's skin allergies. She got a shot of Depo Medrol. didnt want to start Atopica because she is only 8 months old. Wants to do allergy testing after 6 weeks because of the Depo we have to wait. He gave her Cerenia 16 mg tabs for car sickness (2 doses is 18.00) hope it works for her. |

| When Suzi was a puppy she got car sick all the time. Bringing her home, she threw up all over my son. She did outgrow it though.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | If the carsickness is caused by anxiety, I wonder if calming pheremones would help? After 2 days of using them for bedtime issues and separation anxiety, I'm becoming a convert... |
