| You may want to take her to an ER Vet ... it would help to know what injections she was given and if she has been dewormed... if you have Nutrical or pancake syrup on hand, rub a bit on her gums to keep her glucose up. Don't offer food or water till the dry heaves stop for a while...

| When the heaving stops, and you do offer her some water, give her small amounts at a time... if you allow her to drink at will she will more than likely throw it all up again. I wouldn't offer her food until she can keep the water down. Offer her some Gerber's Stage 2 chicken baby food, again small amounts at a time, or plain cooked chicken with plain white rice (1:1), small amounts only. Many puppies get car sick on the way home... or parasites or illness can cause vomiting.... so you'll want to have your vet see here soon anyway....

| Did the breeder tell you what shots she was giving? I agree with others that she needs to be seen by your vet. Please update us on how she is doing. I know this has to be scary. |

| $350...ye the money you saved on her purchase price you are about to spend on vet bills-sorry it's 3 am I'm negative but really you get what you pay for so often that's the case, and unfortunately in cases like this a poor pup gets the breeding result you paid for...then again you'd be surprised how many people here have spent a couple thousand on a dog only to turn around and spend a couple thousand more on medical costs...I'm one of them, BE GLAD YOU ONLY SPENT $350 on a SICK pup! You may be one of the lucky few who go the sick pup discount...let us know how it all goes, hope you didn't take me as super insensitive I just wanted to put a different perspective spin on the situation for you...hope it's a minimal issue. The syrup people are talking about is KARO-it is used to get the blood sugar level up very quickly Yorkies are especially predisposed to hypoglycemia but any dog vomiting needs extra sugars and minerals-how old is the pup? Cough...hmmm...get to the vet quickly. |

| Could be a trachea issue Sounds like it could possibly be a collapsed trachea.. We recently rescued a pup with collapsed trachea and he has gone into fits causing him to vomit, let us know what the vet says. Trachea problems can be frustrating but often they grow out of the problem and lead healthy life for the most part. |

| I was also a little surprised at the $350 price tag, but that doesn't mean she shouldn't have a healthy and full life. While I didn't pick him up from the breeder, Ruger was a surprise from my girlfriend, he did pee, poop and puke all over the inside of his crate on the way home. He still gets sick once in awhile in the car, but otherwise he's healthy and strong at just over a year old. If I recall, he didn't eat or drink for a day, then he began to nibble at his food the next day. It's tough being a little puppy who's all of a sudden thrown into a new environment. Keep us posted. |

| Wasted money or dying dog? I'm more sorry to hear about the poor dog. I hope she's better, but still sorry for the dog.
