| how deep is it? Can you put pressure on it? Do you have gauze?

| Why would you need aspirin? Small cuts are common. It depends on how big and how deep and if you can get it to stop. If the bleeding isn't stopping or it's very deep, then call/see the ER vet.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Use gauze, a clean white t-shirt cut into strips and apply pressure to stop bleeding. Or, you can also try styptic powder or pencil if you have that. As suggested above, if the cut is bad or the bleeding doesn't stop soon, get to a vet.

| I knicked Hot Rod's ear when he was a baby and you would have thought I cut his whole ear off. He was pretty much okay but I was a basket case. Glad to hear it is starting to clot. I would put some bacitration (sp) or neosporin and wrap in guaze instead of cotton balls as all the fibers will become glued on and getting them off will be a nightmere.
