| My yorkie is Missing!! (whittier, CA near sorenson elementary My baby, Soma, went missing on nov. 22 and I haven't seen him since. I think someone may have picked him up. I have put up about 50 or so flyers including 5 huge red florecent ones at intersections, gone door to door on streets he may have gone placing flyers in their mail boxes, am constantly checking the shelter sites, have put signs at local vets and pet stores, sent out a pet amber alert, have it written on my car and every day I take a 30 to 60 minute drive around the neighborhood just in case I see him. | I am sorry you lost your baby! http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...st-yorkie.html It is against YT rules to post asking for money. Also I don't think anyone is just gonna up and give you money...sorry!

| Really? What services do you need help paying for when looking for a lost dog? How much can signs cost? Go to the nearest grocery store or Walmart and get a bunch of cardboard boxes and use those to make signs -- FREE. You can buy a whole ream of copier paper at Walmart for @$3! Use the link that was given to you for other ideas on people to contact by phone, free of charge. Make sure you follow all of the tips given -- most all of which require no money. Many newspapers will place a lost pet ad free of charge. If they do charge, it is usually minimal. Even if you offer a reward, it is recommended that you NOT say how much. Make your reward whatever you can afford -- it need not even be money. Maybe you have something of value you could offer. You could even make them a cake or something homemade. I am very sorry if you really lost your dog, but coming on here asking for money, giving a paypal link, when you have posted so rarely over the years? Wouldn't you turn to your friends and family before virtual strangers if there was something you really needed money for in this quest? The last thing I would be thinking of if my dog was lost is asking strangers for money! I may be overly suspicious but I cannot imagine this..... I don't think anyone is going to send you money and as you have already been told -- it is against the rules for this forum anyway.

| As I said before, I wasn't sure of the rule, I'm sorry I even asked, I didn't do it to offend anyone. Like I said I'm DESPERATE! I want my dog back! He's been my life for the past 5 years. I'll put a more recent picture of him as soon as I can get to my computer. |

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | One suggestion - don't rely on phone calls or visits to shelter websites. Visit in person. Frequently. You can't count on shelters to keep their sites up to date or on staff to recognize your dog from a description or to even know all the dogs they have. I hope you are able to find your dog. |

| I volunteer for the SPCA in Hawthorne. I can at least talk to the shelter workers to give me a call so the owner can be notified. I'm pretty sure they'll let me know.

| I am so very sorry your babies missing. If they have any Flea markets around you look there too. Also check any papers like Iwanna etc that sell pets, I live in North Carolina and its a big thing around here for people to steal and resale dogs Yorkies,Malteses etc, they busted a few people doing it. I do hope you find him, I would be beside my self too. Also copies can be made at office depot /office max 7-10cent a copy if you need more flyers. I will be praying for his safe return. Blessings

| I hope you find your little yorkie. I can only imagine how heartbroken you must be. Never give up and go check the shelters and pounds personally.
