Paris: Always in my ♥ Donating YT Member | Paris hunched over walking funny He just wants me to hold him. He is eating, pooping, drinking water. Yesterday he threw up while I was at work, it looked like food. He wants to eat some kind of plant in the back yard. His tummy is tight. He shivers a little and looks like he wants to hide somewhere. |

| He needs to see a vet tonight. It's likely his back or abdomen and neither should wait. Please keep us posted.

Paris: Always in my ♥ Donating YT Member | Vet says he needed a stool softener. Even though he was pooping he was constipated. More fluids and longer walking. He went for a walk and did better, I guess it moves things around inside. Now he is resting nicely. Thanks for the concern. You are great! |

That is one reason I am constantly telling people not to believe what they read on sites stating that yorkies get enough exercise in their homes or apartments. It isn't true! They need a lot of exercise and a great way to get it, along with lots of healthy fresh air and sunshine, is to go for nice, long walks. It helps their organs to work. When they don't get enough exercise, then none of their organs function at their maximum efficiency.

| Nice to read a thread where the little pup is already on the mend before I get to the end! Hope he continues feeling much better and everything comes out okay. Sorry, could not resist a little potty humor.

Paris: Always in my ♥ Donating YT Member | Here's the news... Paris again fell while walking so I took him to my regular vet and he manipulated his back and says he has severe pain and gave him a steroid injection and pain meds. Poor baby. It was NOT constipation like the emergency vet said! He sid it was like a pulled musle or strain not disc trouble, thank goodness! I knew I should have waited for morning and my trusted vet. Sometimes ER vets are good, sometimes they just don't know your dog. |

| True, but they can at least rule out any immediate life threatening conditions, which, when one really doesn't know what's going on with them, can be the best and safest thing to do at the time, and, for me, has always been well worth the money spent.
