| When it rain it pours I had to take in all 4 dogs to the vets I've been up since 4:00 am this morning because Charm started vomiting again. If you didn't read my post from yesterday she ate 2 foam ear plugs she found in the sheet that my husband didn't put up. I know she only ate 2 plugs because that is all he had. But she vomited white foam all over my bed so it got me scared and we all got up with her. My Maltese Casey hasn't been feeling all that well that well for the last few days either and he had an appoint for Saturday. He's had a bit of diarrhea off and on and an rumbly stomach. But I just switched his food over the last week to RC brand like the girl eat because he's always eating their puppy food, but I got him the RC senior food because he's 9 and I'm watching his weight. This morning when he came in from outside he had a blood and pus on his back end and when I picked him up to clean him off he vomited yellow bile. As I was cleaning him up and his mess up now with my husband was holding Charm because she still doesn't look to chipper, my stinker Chloe climbed up on my desk and grabbed a pencil and took off running under the couch. By the time I reached her she ATE some of the pencil. By now I'm going crazy with all this drama going on. In we all go my vet said Casey may have IBS he took his temp and he did have a mild fever, he also found a lump on his breast and nipple that is turning black that will need surgery to remove when he is feeling better. He now has to go on special ID food to see if that helps and he got medications. Charm he said looks fine he said and will probably be ok just to watch her and he gave me medication to give her if she get sick again today to ease her stomach. I told him about Chloe and he gave her something to make her vomit up the pencil bits and she's fine now and I have to watch her to. While I had all of them their I thought he might as well look at Claire's vulva I wrote about it in a post to, it doesn't look right because it is to far up inside her. He said she does have something called vulval involution plus she has a staff infection where her pee is getting trapped up inside. She has to be cleaned now after she goes pee with dog wipes. We are going to let her go into heat to see if that will let it come down but that not a sure thing he said because it could go back up. If that doesn't work she could have problems from urinary tract infections. I'm glad I do have insurance on them. I hope my day gets better. |

| You are having a terrible time!! I hope all your babies will be feeling better very soon. Then you can relax a little too. It's nerve wracking when they are sick. Hope things improve quickly for all of you. Sending hugs. |

| I know the feeling well. I once had 9 cats sick at the same time. Thank God it was the same thing and the vet was so tired of seeing me she gave me a huge supply of antibiotcs to take home. After awhile they all got well but for awhile there was mass confusion in my household. |

| I hope your day did get better and all your pups got back on track. That must have been an awful day you had there with all 4 of them at the vet for different things! Sounded a little overwhelming! But you got them all the attention they needed and hopefully will be rewarded with some smooth sailing after this. Hope Claire's problem does fix itself once she goes through a heat cycle. After all you went through, I think you need to call for a massage appointment and pamper yourself a little.
