| New here but nervous about my Mabel. At 5am this morning she woke up and vomited all over the bed. It was pure kibble. After that, she continued to dry heave for 2 hours. She would occasionally whine after too. She wouldn't drink or eat. I tried to get her to drink some water but she wouldn't. I finally was able to get a little (very little) pumpkin in her mouth. After that she drank water. She was okay today just very tired. She hasn't eaten anything and just a few minutes ago (about 7:40pm EST), she started dry heaving again. A little bit of bile came up. Is it time to see a doctor? She didn't get into anything foreign at all. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Is this a puppy? If yes, I'd get to the vet asap...as they can go down quick. One thing you can try to help settle her tummy is give her a few little pieces of bread (tear some off, give small pieces). Simple carbs can help settle tummy, absorb nauseous juices, and stim appetite (and give energy).

| She'll be 3 in January so I don't think she's considered a puppy anymore, right? |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | If she is still sick in the morning I would take her to the vet. If it lasts more than 24 hours or they seem really ill I always take them in. I hope she feels better.

| What is her diet? I would worry about pancreatitis. Yorkies seem to get it quite easily. I would see the dr.
