Donating YT 4000 Club Member | Yeasty smelling ear I noticed this evening when snuggling up with Scarlett that one of her ears has a yeasty smell to it. She's going to the groomers on Monday morning (which is located in the vet's office) so I can have them check her then. But is there anything I can do in the mean time to get a jump start on clearing it up?

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | Forgot to add that I did clean it out as best I could with some cleanser. It didn't seem to be tender.

| yeast smell in ear My little Romeo (maltese) gets the same thing when the ear hair starts to get long inside his ear. I clean it with ear cleaner, If it is bothering him I give him a benadryl to take the itch out. It looks like you did everything that I would of done. At least if she doesn't have hair in there that is causing the problem them at least you are right at the vet as well. I have never had a problem with any of my 4 yorkies with any ear problems. Thank goodness. Good luck on Monday.

| Sometimes doing to much can make it harder to diagnose... I would just let it go till the vet sees her.
