| Liver Tumor Surgery Hi everyone, I posted before about my 13 year old boy's Benign Liver Tumor. Well, since the posting, I've gone to see two specialists who did an array of tests. Long story short, they both feel that it is operable. I have a consultation with a surgeon later this week, but wanted to ask if anyone out there had experiences with Liver Surgeries. In general, is it high-risk? What was the recovery like? Do you regret your decision? Any kind of feedback would help me, I'm going back and forth on whether i want to put him through surgery at this point. Thanks! |

| No experience, but hope all goes well with your boy. I would imagine that with all the people who have puppies who have had liver shunt surgery, you will get a lot of advice. Again, best wishes for a speedy recovery for your boy.
