| Sick puppy vomitting and diarhea This morning after I feed my 3 puppies I went in their room where I keep them gated and I found on my chair what smell very bad and looked like poo with bits of their Royal Caine in it. The only one of my pups that can jump on the furniture is my oldest Chloe. I checked her and her breath is smelly like poo. I put her on my lap and watched her and found out it is vomit because she did it again. While cleaning that up she had a very loose bm in her litter box. I called my vet and I'm taking her in a few hours. My littlest one Baby has been being treated for the last few days because she has very loose stool. We saw the vet Friday for her and we've had 2 stool samples done so far and all come back fine but he want to still do another which my husband was bringing him tonight because he said she might have some kind bug?? I forget what he called that is hard to catch sometimes. I am blind in one eye and can't drive or I take them in now. I called my husband and he's driving home and then we have to drive an hour away because my vet is in his other office today. Friday the vet said Baby is gaining weight and did not look dehydrated and to feed her boiled chicken and rice and to give her plain vogurt and give her Imodium in a dropper he marked for me and she has another appointment to see him on Friday. Now I'm afraid Baby might have something that Chloe now has. Baby has never thrown up and acts full of energy and eats great. Chloe is just lying their resting which is so unlike her she is normally a ball of energy. I've gotten her to drink water and given her some nutra cal. I have nutri drops I order them because I read on here it is a good thing to keep on hand with tiny ones. I hate wait like this I feel so helpless the vet tech I spoke with said it could be parvol and to come in with all 3 in the back door. |

| You mentioned a litter box. Do you use kitty litter for them? Some kitty litters can make dogs very sick if they eat it. Praying your puppies get better soon.

| Chloe and Baby Charm have giardia I just got back from the vets office he said Chloe and Baby Charm have something called giardia and Claire might because they share the litter box. I use Nature Choice litter for dogs and clean any mess out after they go and change it all the time to. My vet thinks they could have gotten it from a stray cat that is always in my back yard. Last week Chloe had a piece of dried up poop in her mouth and I had to catch her, if not that I don't have any idea how they could have gotten it. I called the breeder that I got Baby Charm from 2 weeks ago and neither of other dog are showing any symptoms but she said she watch them closely and call her two litter mates new parents. Chloe seems fine tonight she is drinking and eating her boiled chicken and rice now and very happy with this new food and so is Baby. Baby isn't doing as well she lost 4 oz and is down to 15oz. She has had loose bm's for the last few days but nothing like Chloe's. I have to give her pediollyte anti diarrhea medication and make sure she get enough water plus they have 2 types of antibiotic and all four dogs have to go on another medication for the giardia to make sure it doesn't just get passed around. They had to order Baby Charms because of her size and we have to pick it up tomorrow. I feel so bad for them. I'm going to watch them closely and put their crates by my bed tonight. |
