| Help please, one of my yorkies Help please. One of my yorkies, Gina, wakes up in the middle of the night and she is choking or gasping for breath. And then she snaps out of it. Someone told me it was furballs. During the day she runs up and down the fence chasing the larger dogs. And I mean for a long time. Maybe for 2 hours or so. Anyone have any advice? tks.

| A few things come to mind, It may be reverse sneezing. However, if your puppy looks like she is in stress (cannot breath) it may be a collasped trachea issue. You really need to discuss this with your vet, just to rule out anything more serious.

| My first thought was also reverse sneezing or collapsed trachea. You need to bring her to the vet to get a diagnosis.
