| Throwing up yellow bile Now Tucker has started throwing up yellow bile. Is that a sign of liver problems or just from not eating very much? |

When does he throw up? is it before he has eaten? does he eat well? If he is not eating well, you may want to try something that is more appealing to him, like canned food, for a few days to see if this changes anything. If he continues to throw up, then you may want to take him to the vet. How old is he? what kind of food does he eat and how much/how often?

| I thought yellow bile could be a problem of renal problems. So sorry to hear Tucker is still having problems.

How long is it since your dog has eaten and how long has the decreased appetite gone on for? Does your dog have any energy at all or is he lethargic and depressed? Have you contacted your vet again? Something is wrong with your dog. This is not normal and your poor boy is ill. Maybe your vet needs to rerun lab tests. You need to call them and tell them Tucker is still ill and he needs to be seen again.

| Tucker is 14 months old and .I have been having issues with him for a few months now. He has not been wanting to eat very well. I have been able to get him to eat at least once a day. I have been adding some lean boiled ground beef to a little kibble these last few days to try and get him to eat it. He sticks his nose up at first and later he will eat some. He has had a complete blood panel done a couple of months ago and all looked well. I have asked my vet for some further testing and she was going to look into it. Now he has began throwing up yellow bile so I know something isn't right. Most of the time he seems pretty active. He wants to go for his walks but is really panting heavely by the time he gets back which concerns me too. I am going to call my vet again today and demand that we do more or I will be going somewhere else to find out whats going on. This is the same thing I was going through last year at this time with my Tobie that I lost last July and it tears me apart. |

| so sorry that you are having problems with this. I know maggie has thrown up yellow bile when she skips a meal. she is my good eater and every once in awhile she will turn her nose up and she will throw up the bile. She'll get back to eating and all is well. she hasn't thrown up for quite sometime now. she is a ball of energy so maybe they burn their foods more quickly and skipping a meal might make more of a difference to them. Hot Rod eat very little to start with and he's my picky eater and will turn his nose up alot and not have much of a problem.

I agree if your gut is something is wrong then there is probably something wrong. I would not walk him now if not feeling well and panting can be a sign of pain or panting can just be tired or hot too but until he is 100% healthy and not throwing up I would not over exert him. Many vets are not up on liver disease in this breed so if bile acids have not been done with this behavior exhibited then that would be the first thing I did along with taking in urine to be tested with a urinalysis to see if any crystals are in the urine | |

| I have to drop Tucker off at the vet in the morning for some test. They are going to do a bile acid test and another blood test to check his pancreas and gi track and also I asked if we could test his urine. Hopefully we can find out if there is something going on with this little guy. |

| Well the urine testing came back normal but we have to wait for the results of the other two blood tests, she said that they have to send them in and it could be a few days so we will have to wait for those results. |
