Senior Yorkie Talker | My baby Celine is sick On memorial day I was on step stool to reach my crock pot above my cupbard. It was heavier than I had expected and the lid flew off and on to my ceramic tile. It must have been tempered glass because there were thousands of little squares on my floor. My grandkids were over and I was trying to keep them out of the way find shoes to start sweeping. I noticed Celine out on the deck I went out and found her to have pieces of glass in her mouth. I carefully too two pieces out did didn't see any others. I watched her close, she did not appear in pain, she was eating drinking and her poo was fine. A week later she starts to act tired, lathargic sleeping most of the time. I took her to the vet she ran some blood tests and said everything looked well. This was Monday. The checked her bowles and said they were fine. She said Boiled chicken and boiled rice. She to this point has been eating quite well. Yesterday She started having diarreah, now she has blood in the diarreah as well. I gave her some rice today. She really isn't acting ill. There is definate red blood in her stool. I have not noticed her vomiting. Is there virus's that do this? I know I will need to get her back in, just everything is so costly. Any advice?

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I am sorry Celine is sick. It could be one of several stomach problems. But since she had gotten into glass I would want to have her rechecked by the vet. Did they do any Xrays of her tummy? I would get her in as soon as possible with having blood in her stool. I hope she feels better soon. Keep us posted.

| I'm so sorry your baby is sick and I agree with Patti that she be seen asap by a vet. Anytime there is blood in the stool, there's cause for concern. I'll say a prayer for her...keep us updated.
