| hurt foot my new 12wk old and I were outside in the back yard when I heard her yelp and start limping. I did not see what happened but when I checked her leg and foot she will let me touch here everywhere except her pinky toe on her left foot. there is not cut or anything in it that I can see. the nail looks ok as well but she will not put any weight on that foot and rolls in the floor winning. I feel so bad for her can I give her anything until I can get her to the vet in the morning? |

| She may have been stung by a bee and still have the stinger in her. Check closely for the stinger - you'll need to pull it out if you find one. How long ago did this happen? Hope she's ok soon!

| Chelsea sprained her toe once when she was about 16-18 weeks old, and this sounds a lot like that. The doctor gave her an anti-inflammatory and a shot for the pain. If she's still hurting in another half hour or so, is there an ER vet you could call? Maybe they can tell you what would be safe to give her until you take her in tomorrow.
