Donating YT 30K Club Member | I would call the er vet and ask what you should do. I would ask if you should give him more Hydrogen peroxide or if too much time has passed. Keep us posted.

Do you know what chips were used in the cookies? Milk chocolate or semi sweet? This website tells you the toxic amount of the different types of chocolate. Chocolate and Dog Poisoning Call your ER vet immediately. They can advise you. He may need activated charcoal.

Just wondering how your dog is and what happened? I'm so afraid of Charlie getting something he shouldn't. My kids leave stuff lying around all the time. They know enough not to give him anything with chocolate but sometimes they'll leave a half a cookie on the coffee table. I hope everything is okay with your dog.

Glad to know he's okay now My Buddy ate a 4" by 6" thick chocolate bar (The $1.50 size), and was one sick pup. We induced vomiting but that is just far too much chocolate for a little guy. He was almost comatose by the time I could get him to a vet the next morning and spent almost a week on IV's and stomach meds before I could bring him home. Got to keep everything out of this little guy's reach. Tonight he just ate a bone from our smoked ribs. Hope we aren't on the way to the vets again tomorrow.

Now he's found cookies, too! Tonight a guest set two chocolate chip cookies on the coffee table and it was a few hours before he realized that he did not eat them. Yep, the dog did. I guess we are on alert again. I'll let you know what the next 48 hours brings.

Um...What? You just spent a week with a dog in the vet and then he somehow gets a rib bone?? And I see your post after this shows your dog got two cookies?? Please tell me you're just joking, and not serious.
