| Max is going to lose his leg OK Yorkie rescue got a call today about a yorkie surrendered at the shelter that needed care. They told our volunteer that his foot and leg were swollen and had a horrible smell. She runs to get him and then to the ER vet clinic. His leg had been wrapped to tight and had cut off the blood circulation. After tests and x-rays they will have to amputate poor Max's leg. OKYR will have him into the vet first thing in the morning and start working to get Max well and on his road to recovery. Please pray for this poor little guy! |

| Bless his heart - he will certainly be in my thoughts and prayers. Seeing & hearing about things like this just puts knots in my stomach.

| Thank you, OK Yorkie Rescue! This is sad, but you do good work. At least there's hope that he'll survive now. Poor baby! I just sent in a small donation. It's not much, but I think even a little bit has to help right now.

| I just made a donation for the care of Max and hope that others will do so as well. YTers are always very generous and have helped with many other fosters in the past. Let's all step up and help OKYR too to care for Max!

| Oops..I forgot to add a note that my donation was for Max, but that's okay. It will go to a yorkie in need no matter what. Yes, let's all donate at least a little something to help.

| I sure will say a prayer for Max. I know just how it is to have a tri-pod. Max should do well in his recovery but will find it hard to get comfortable, even after healing. I have a stuffed Saint Bernard that mine likes to lie on. He snuggles up between his legs with his resting on the stuffed dog's body. Cha-Z sends his best to Max, too!
