| Re-Posting - Bella may be sick - Help Yesterday seemed normal, Bella was playful, and seemed full of normal energy. Later in the afternoon she got a bath and everything went well with that, but a few hours later I had noticed that she was much less active and everytime I looked for her she was laying down sleeping. This has me worried because I am not sure if this is normal. This morning (Sunday) she ate breakfast fine, played a little with a couple of our Chihuahua's but again she keeps ending up in her crate sleeping. In my mind she is much less active that she usually is. We have not had her out around other animals (except our own) We have not changed her food. The only things that come to my mind could be teething but is this possible since she is only 13 weeks. OR could the bath have anything to do with it? It didn't seem unusual in any way. She eats her food normally but doesn't troll under our feet when we are in the kitchen (she usually does) I would take her to the emergency vet but there really isn't an emergency to speak of yet. Any suggestions ???

| I can't offer advice, but I will be praying for Bella that it is just teething. Hopefully some of the more experienced members will see this and offer some advice. Hope Bella feels better soon.

| If she is eating, drinking, peeing, pooping, etc normally... I would just keep a close eye on her. She may just be tired, mine fight a lot during baths and it wears them out sometimes. She could be in pain from teething.... I sometimes wet a washcloth and freeze it and let mine chew on that for a few minutes (watch to make sure they dont swallow any of it) I hope she perks up soon!

| I agree 100% with the above statement, 13 week old babies tire easily and they do sleep a lot. My best advice to you would be to trust your instincts - you know this little one better than anyone else on YT. If you honestly feel like something is wrong, then you might want to schedule a visit with the vet to check her out. If you are being an anxious mommy -- most of us have been there done that , then take some time and just relax with little Bella. |

| I would notice when Pixie was having growing spurts she would sleep more. Also when she had a vaccination she would sleep more. I would try not to worry as long as she is eating, drinking,Pooing, peeing, and has bouts of energy at sometime throughout the day. If you are really concerned you can call the vet it is always to be safe than sorry is my motto. I call my vet when I worry and they are very helpful.

| I think the truth is that I am being an over anxious mommy. Since she has been here she has been on full go mode and running around like crazy. The only time she went slightly sluggish was when she got a vaccine. She didn't get a shot yesterday but that is how she was acting. Now she is acting like she normally acts so it actually may be that she felt a little puny for a few hours or she just needed to catch up on beauty sleep. She has an appt with the vet next Saturday for her last shot but I intend to keep a close watch on her and she can go before that if she needs too. The more I watch her now the more I think it is just a puppy crash after going to hard for to long. I may need to make sure she is taking in enough food to sustain her. Maybe a couple more snacks. Thanks for the responses and I will post again if I panic!

| Just as a followup, since this morning Bella has been acting perfectly normal. I am inclined to believe that she just ran herself completely down and had to recharge. She is a doll and we love her so much already. She see's the vet next Saturday but if I see anything strange again before that she will see him before. I appreciate your concern and thanks for the well wishes everyone.
