| Upset stomach Hey, my carmel had upset stomach this morning. He woke me up when he was throwing up. I was soooo worried! I called the vet, but it was closed. He stopped throwing up after 30 minutes or so. I had him sleep next to him so I know if anything were to happen. Nothing happened...so I don't know if I should take him to the vet NOW. Before this, I was going to take them to the vet this friday, after my finals. He seems okay now, what would you suggest?

| When mine happen to get that occasional upset stomach, I crush up 1/2 a tablet of Maalox and let them lick it off my hand. It is just an antacid, so it neurtralizes any acid left in their stomach and throat. |

| you can get it in the "human" drug section. It's an antacid. Hope your baby feels better soon.

| You can buy it in practically any grocery store, Kmart, or pharmacy. It comes in a powdery-chewable-tablet. It is like Tums, if you have never heard of it before. I have acidity problems so use it before meals. When my girl was put on anitbiotics her stomach became very acidic, so the vet had advised me to break up a tablet and give her some. It works. |

| Check to see if Carmel seems dehydrated. If so, you might want to give your baby some pedialyte? Vet said it was a good way to rehydrate the furball. |
