| New Yorkie Throwing Up I just brought my new Yorkie Khaos home yesterday and everything was great except he wouldnt use the puppy pads. We have a wonderful evening( so I thought). There was no whining during the night but I awoke to the unpleasant surprise of throw-up and a bowel movement in Khaos' cage. I figure no big deal maybe the cage is too big. He ate this morning and played. On the way to the vet he threw up again in the car and again when we arrived at the vet's offiice. He did great during his check up. On the ride home once the car was stoppped he threw up again. The vet said it was just car sickness and it will pass. Well I placed him in his cage and went to run some errands. An hour later, he had thrown up again in his cage. I cleaned the cage and at this point he reeks with a very foul smell. I gave him a bath and he still stinks. I put him back in his cage for a little to clean a little and he slept. When he heard me enter the room he threw up again. I am totally confused now. It seems only the car and the cage are the place where he throws up. Can some one help????? |

| Hm the vet said everything was ok with his check up? Have you thought about an ex-pen? Kennel-Aire Exercise Pens - Exercise Pens - Crates & Kennels - PetSmart I used this for my yorkie when I got her and it worked out great. I set it up the elongated way. I put plastic runner underneath for accidents and I puet her bed at one end food in the middle and by the door I put her pee pad. That way I could let her out after she used the pad. Pixie is 7 months and fully pad trained and I swear by the ex-pen and the set up. I have a picture of her pen in my albums it is in the album when I first got her. Does your lil one throw up when it is running around outside the pen?

Donating YT 500 Club Member | How old is your puppy and what have you been feeding him? Have you changed foods from what the breeder was feeding? Is it possible he's eating too much, and getting sick from that, how much is he eating? It is common for puppies/dogs to get car sick but to continue to be sick isn't right. If it's not a food changing problem, I would call your vet.

| I'd be very very that it could be something much more serious since you just got him. Did your vet do bloodwork? A fecal? The concern in a young puppy is dehydration. How old is he? How much does he weigh? Where did you get him? |

| I hope your puppy is ok. Did you call your vet? It is really important to find out why the poor lil thing is throwing ups so much.
