| Welcome to YT! Sorry to hear your pup is sick. I will assume you've had him to the vet and he is on medication? If you've brought him home on meds, he should show improvement in 24-48 hours, if not take him back in to the vet, he may be on the wrong antibiotic. Don't wait, as pneumonia is extremely serious in young pups and older dogs. Please keep us posted on his progress, and prayers to him that he recovers quickly. How old is he and how long have you had him? How long has he been sick?

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Is he at the vets or home? If he is home just watch him for any signs of worsening symptoms and get him back to the vet asap. I hope he feels better soon.

| How old is your Kaz? What antibiotics is he on and do you have oxygen readily available, this would aid in his breathing.

| There are special oxygen tents for animals. You may want to discuss this with your vet, he may have a supplier that you can rent one from. Or you can PM Tegamom1. She rigged up her own, but she rigged one up for her little girl contracted pnuemonia after she whelped. If your vet can prescribe the oxygen/concentrator. I'm talking to her right now, so she's waiting for your PM.

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | I seen a wire cage covered with plastic and a tank of CO2 hooked to it,do the purpose, but you need to know, how long to keep the pup in there and how much CO2 he needs. my mentor has one setup in her puppy nursery. hugs, Carmen in nj |

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | yes I seen that one too. I figured if i was going to make one I will use a vari kennel, she used a small wire cage and used the plastic that is used for window covering in winter by 3M. she likes the fact that she can see the puppies from all angles, which makes sense to me. I have the CO2 tank here but Thank God i have not need to use it yet. hugs, Carmen in nj |
