| oh, my poor Trix !!! Trixie woke up this morning crying in pain. I didn't know what is wrong. I just thought that Wally, the baby, was playing too rough with her. She hasn't been herself since last Monday when she got her rabies and her distemper shots. Hardly eating and drinking, and not really playing with Wally like she usually does. She seems to have some kind of jaw pain. Every time she tries to yawn she just yelps in pain. I call the vet and immediately and bring her in. He did a full blood work series. That all, thank Goodness, came out fine. She has nothing visibly wrong with her mouth. He thinks maybe she strained it biting a bone or something. She can't open her mouth, like to yawn. He gave her a cortisone shot and gave me meds to give her for the week. If it is not better with these meds then I have to bring her back next Saturday and try to figure out the next step. I'm thinking that maybe she strained it, because when the vet last week was clipping her nails it took 2 people to kind of hold her. She hates it!!! Maybe she pulled something!!! She just ate a little kibble and my daughte gave her some banana. I will cook her up some chicken and rice for dinner. I hate when they are not themselves. Boy do I wish they could talk. My poor baby!!

Poor Coco! I'm so sorry that she is in so much pain. I wish I had advice to offer but all I can do is pray that the cortisone shot helps relieve some of your sweet baby's pain. Maybe you could buy the PediPaw filer instead of cutting her nails? Or maybe just have them one paw......at a time.....with a long break if possible in between? I'm praying here that beautiful Coco is back to playing with Wally really soon.

Just keep my Trixie in your thoughts please I hope it is just sore and she will be fine. I'm starting to get nervous because Wally goes in on Monday for his neuter. I just can't stand to leave him there. I know I will be a basket case until he comes home and back in my arms. The kids are off from school next week for Presidents week so my daughter is like a mama hen. She will help me make sure both Wally and Trixie are doing better.

| OMG--Sorry to mix up the names! I was looking at your album and got distracted by their adorable pics! (I am also secretly in love with the name Coco.) Feel better soon Trixie and I'm glad to hear that you are playing with Wally. I hope that Wally's neuter goes well and I think having your daughter home will be a wonderful support for you. Kisses for your cuties! (Sorry again for the name mixup.)

Also thank you for your well wishes on the neuter. It is my baby Wally that is getting neutered though. He has 1 undecended testicle so the surgery will be a bit more complicated but I'm sure he will be fine. He is 6-1/2 mo. He is my baby though. My little trouble maker!!!
