| not eating again My 14 &half year old yorkie has stopped eating again. He`s refused chicken, caeser soup, i can`t tempt him with anything. He has done this before, and after two days he starts to eat again. It is so worrying because he is weak at his age & he needs all the food he can get. He seems ok in himself, he just sleeps most of the time. He will still go for a very short walk but needs encouraging while this very cold weather has been here. He also has been diagnosed with kidney problems & is on med. for that. It is terrible to watch him going down & wondering if he will start to eat again. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Sorry your baby is not feeling like eating right now. I know when I have had dogs with kidney disease the vet said they can get nauseous and not want to eat much. Maybe the vet can give you something to help with his appetite. Hope he feels better soon.

| there is an article on whole dog journal website and it is about dogs who will not eat and mostly pertains to older dogs and one thing is steroids which make them hungry so you may want to get that article as well to help out and many rave about little cesars that dogs who will not eat always eat that food so at this point who cares about quality of food if you need to get a pup to eat |

| Something that has worked for me in the past to get mine to eat is baby food, the chicken 1st stage, I put just a small amount in their dog food stir it around with the kibble.
