♥ love my girls!! ♥ Donating Member | Can dogs use AZO CRANBERRY SUPPLEMENTS for suspected UTI? We are visiting family in Alaska at the moment, and their 10 year old 52 lb. springer spaniel has been going to the door every 3 min. and has been licking her....girly business ....too. She had a UTI several months ago. Her urine isn't dark in color, but she seems to be drinking a lot (not sure if it's more than usual or not since she's not mine??), so maybe it's more dilute because of that??? Anyway, we can't take her to the vet until tomorrow morning if it still looks like she might have a UTI.....does anyone know if she could take the Azo Cranberry supplement pills (Buy AZO Cranberry Supplement, Tablets Online at drugstore.com )? I know they have cranberry supplements for dogs to help keep their urine at a healthy pH, so I was wondering if this would work to help her until she can get on antibiotics?? Also I'm not sure because it's a drug (and not a supplement), but has anyone ever heard of using Azo on a dog??? That's probably not a good idea though.....??
