| Too Much Thanksgiving for Bella???? Help! Our little Yorkie, Bella, experienced her first Thanksgiving in our home. She is used to a quiet home with just my husband and I. We started the day with her in her xpen in the back bedroom with music playing. We were having 31 people and we thought it was too risky as far as someone stepping on her. Anyway she cried, jumped and carried on so that we let her out. She seemed to do okay and just kept following my husband and I around. Well, all the family that was staying with us is gone now and Bella seems to be acting differently. She wakes up fine, plays with us on our bed, eats breakfast, etc. But then once we move to the living room she sleeps under the sofa table or under the recliner when it is leaning back. Usually she is out with us on our laps or in her bed. This is the second day with the behavior. She seems like she is not ill. Could all the activity have just been too much for her and she needs a day or 2 of quiet to recover? Has anyone experienced this with their furbaby? Any morale support would be greatly appreciated. She is eating, pottying well, walking outdoors on her leash with enthusiasm, just isolating herself in the house. Help? |

| Who isn't a little exhausted after a holiday?? I think she'll be fine in a couple of days. Maybe do some special activities with her. My dog loves walks and car rides so maybe something like that for her? Or get her favorite treat? I wouldn't worry too much.

| I had a bottle of wine fall of the top of my fridge (amazing it didn't break), it shocked me (!) so Belle was understandably scared and wouldn't walk past the area for a while - she's fine now, I'm sure it will pass |

| I'm sure she's probably ok. Sophie has taken to going under the couch sometimes instead of in my lap or on the couch with me. I thought something was wrong at first, but then realized she likes to hide her toys under there. The first thing she does with a new toy is take it under the couch. I've determined she just has a quirky personality and she's not actually scared. I hope that that is all that your baby's going through too! Just a personality change! |
