| Help!! My Yorkie has GIARDIA!! What does this mean for my yorkie?? She had giardia for like two months... how does this affect her growth rate and her health? Is there anything I can do to help her? Does giardia affect yorkies even after they get rid of it? |

| It's not a big deal. A lot of pups get that, a few of mine got it. You get the meds from the vet and the pup will be fine.

| Did she come with giardia? It comes from drinking contaminated water and quickly spreads through kennels. Giardia can be difficult to get rid of since they can get reinfected if their areas aren't disinfected. It is also contagious to humans so careful hand washing is essential.
