| Puppy with Watery Eyes We just got our little boyv today and i've noticed he has really watery eyes. I don't want to worry too much about it but I can't help but think something is wrong with him! Has anyone else dealt with their puppy having watery eyes? It's clear like just tears! I really hope someone might have an answer for me. I am making an appointment on Monday to get him to the vet to have his first puppy check up. I'm kinda nervous about this. My DH says it will probably go away in a few days and it could just be a change of environment or something. I'm just worried. If anyone has any knowledge on this please let me know! Thanks!

| Our baby has watery eyes too. I thought it was allergies (may still be as the vet has not done any testing on him) but I do notice every once in a while a stray hair in his eye. Their hairs seem so baby fine its hard to always see them in their eyes. I would be interested to see if anyone else has any other ideas/suggestions for this also.

| Lucky almost always got teary eyes...I just keep them wiped with those little round cosmetic pads...or cotton balls moistened with warm water! I just think that if it's left there it can become bothersome or sore to them! I was told that the tears contain yeast...so I just keep his eyes clean.

| many yorkies can have tear ducts that are not completely exposed. It casues constant tearing. If it's clear should be ok, but you have to do eye booger detail several times a day, tha'ts what I do. If it's greenish or colored may be something more. Also food allergies can cause colored discharge. But can be as simple as hair in the eyes. many people cut or shave the hair around the eyes. I don't do this b/c when it grows out it will poke directly into the eye. Also when it's time for a trim, scissors that close to an eyeball is scary. Then the hair is long enough it will lay down on its own.

| Andy still has the clear watery eyes. I try to clean him up every day so they aren't always wet. They have been getting better since we got him but it still worries me. I'm going to have the vet check it out when we take him to get his second round of shots. =] Thanks for all your help guys!
