| Please help my 1 year old ate some type of sticky candy!! Please help me, my four pound 1 year old yorkie just got to some of my or my sisters halloween candy and ate it! I dont know what it was so i dont know how bad it is, but candy is bad. it was stuck on the roof of her mouth, white, sticky, i think she just swallowed it I hope she dosnt choke on it! PLease help me i dont kno what to do. |

| I'm not sure I have any advice because the kind of candy is unknown. Obviously if it was dark chocolate or something that contains xylitol, there may be problems; otherwise it should be fine. Inducing vomiting if you are really unsure may be an option, but it could be hard on a 4 pound dog and is most likely unnecessary.

The 3 Musketeers Donating Member | I'm guessing that she did not choke on it. I'm trying to figure out what type of candy is white. Since it wasn't brown, you can probably figure that it wasn't chocolate which would have been bad. Just keep a close watch on her. Since she did swallow it, it will probably dissolve in her stomach and her poopies might be affected. If you are still really freaked out, you can always take her to a vet or even call a vet.
