| New Mom needs advice I have a 5 month 4 pound Yorkie. I have had him for 1 month. 1 week ago, he has started yelping when I try to pick him up. He always feels good in the mornings, it usually starts in the afternoon and at night. I have tried picking him up slowly or keeping him in his bed, but he still yelps occasionally. I cant decide if he is hurt (only happens occasionally) or if his food his bothering him (science diet). Any advice? |

| Yelping means something is hurting him. I would have a vet check him out

| I agree, rather take him to the vet to be checked out. That way you will know and have piece of mind. I never came across a question like this before but rather take him the sooner the better. I would take chances if i were you. Good luck and i hope it is not to serious. Keep us posted though.
