| I just saved this really sick yorkie from being put down. My dog escaped from my yard about 4 days ago and ran down the street. As soon as she was missing we went looking for her and walked the wrong way up the street well somebody picked her up and we missed catching her by 30 seconds. Well I was devastated and went looking everywhere for her, during my search I went too the pound every day and everyday in the back rooms I saw this little yorkie who got so excited every time I saw her. She was really cute, but her tongue hung out of her mouth and her jaw looked funny. I asked what was going too happen to her and the said "well she is older and she has a problem with her jaw we are probably going to deem her unadoptable and put her down" I was sad and asked when her time being held for her owners too come pick her up was going too be up and he said in three days so every time I came back as asked about her. every person said the same thing, so I asked if I could adopt her. At first they said probably not but they could no release any information, then they said they had to ask the vet then finally they said if I tried to help her I could. So I ended up adopting her today. She is going to the vet tomorrow so I can find out what is wrong with her. I was just curious if anybody knew what this might be and if it was common with yorkies before I went there. I am trying to do as much research as possible. She has no teeth. Literally no teeth and her tongue hangs out of her mouth and her jaw does not seem too line up properly and her gums seems too curve outward. I will take pictures soon. I just want too let her relax the insisted on doing surgery to check if she was spayed. oh PS: They ended up bringing my dog back when the saw my flyers

| Well, I'm glad you got your baby back and bless you for taking the sick pup in. No clue what's wrong but maybe it's just because she has no teeth? I hope its something minor and that she brings you many more years of happiness and you her! |

| Im so glad you got your baby back. That was such a wonderful thing you did by taking in this baby. with her jaw like that it could be a number of things, from a broken jaw, degenerative bone issues or just from the lack of teeth. I pray that its nothing serious and that she can live a happy pain free life. please keep us update on her and pictures please. |
