| HELP! CC's ear is red and purple! Out of the blue, CC's right ear stopped standing up. Then, I noticed that the canal is red and the rest of her ear is red and purple! I do not know what happened! She rarely goes outside....she has no flea bites....she has been trying to scratch it, but not a lot. She doesn't act like it hurts when I touch it! She had an ear infection a couple of months ago, the drops that we got from the vet cleared up the ear infection. When she had the infection she had a strong odor out of her ear. But now she does not! I do not know what to do! I don't want to take her to the vet if it's not necessary, but I don't want her to be in pain! I also don't want her ear to stay down while the other stays up! HELP ME!

| Well with Petey's ear when they are discolored black and blueish, like some boxed his ears- they are usually really cold. Not enough circulation going to the ears. Although I found Sasha's ear to act that way when she was teething. ears go up and down.. Last edited by threelilmaggots; 05-28-2009 at 07:35 PM. |
