| Is this possibly reverse sneezing??? Morning Everyone. Yesterday I had my cousin over and we were sitting on my back porch eating our Memorial day picnic to celebrate our Veterans. I had a lot of stuff on the porch so I put Jemma in her puppy pen for safety. Well of course she was howling and crying away, you know how they get. Finally I felt so bad for her I just cleaned everything up and went in to get her. She was so excited her little heart was pounding so. I put her down on the floor and she made this weird sound. Then she looked like she was gagging or about to vomit but she didn't. She mostly made the deep sound but looked like she was sneezing? She has done this on a few rare occasions. Maybe once or twice. But yesterday it was for about 10 minutes. Not one right after another but intermmit over 10 minutes. And as I said, a few times looked like she was gagging. I quickly picked her up and checked for obstruction and ran to examine her puppy pen. All was OK. So I kept her in my arms and just loved her and (whispered sweet nothings) in her ear. lol. Because there was no obstruction and it did cease, I did not see a need to rush to the ER. So please don't reply with "you should have" Please, I do mean that. She is perfectly fine now. And did stop when I calmed her down. No repeat performance as yet. And it is now the following day. All is good. Being no expert here, not even close, I'm asking for some input and opinions. Possible Reverse Sneezing? Dangerous? Anything I can do to help her? Thank you all and a big Muahhhh to everyone. Hope everyone's holiday went well. Carol and Jemma |

| Were you able to figure out if it was/is reverse sneezing? One of mine has been making some odd sounds lately... I'm not too sure either what it is. I'm leaning towards reverse sneezing too though. I think another of my girls is having trachea problems. |
