| Chase is sick! Last night around 3am, Chase started vomiting several (at least 15) times until there was just yellow foamy bile. After an hour or so (and frantic calls to the 24 hour animal hospitals), he was finally able to settle down go back to sleep. In the morning, he seemed completely fine but I had my boyfriend take him to the vet. They were concerend that he might have swallowed a foreign object. I came home from work to monitor him for the day. He had fluids administered and a famotidine injection. The instructions written are: Please withold food/water for next 10-12 hours. If he does not vomit by this evening, offer him some boiled chicken and rice along with a small bowl of water. If he continues to do well switch him back to regular diet. If he continues to vomit, please bring him back for x-rays. I'm so worried! Has anyone else experienced this? What are the symptons when a dog swallows an object?
