| Growth on paw pad? Hello All, I was just rubbing my furbabys paws and I noticed she has this growth right next to almost attached to one of her paw pads(the middle one) it looks like a wart but with a smooth surface and it is red. She is not bleeding and doesn't seem to be in pain since I put slight pressure on it and rubbed it, She didn't even flinch and she is not licking it nor biting at it. I almost thought it was a big tick but its not. I just took her last week for a bordatella shot and her heartworm preventative and they drew some blood (to make sure of no heartworms) and she is in perfect health. I am sure she did not have this then and I am worried, but to take her again this soon will put me over my budget for this week since my husband just lost his job and last weeks visit was $125. Should I be worried or just keep an eye on it to see if it goes away on its own? I will of course take her in immediately if there are any changes or she seems to be in any pain. Has anyone had any experience with something like this that they would like to share? Thanks in advance. |
