| Upset Tummy Tank has had some diarreah and vomitting today. He won't look at his food some I'm trying some chicken and rice. I'm making the rice right now and realized I don't have any chicken. Can I use canned chicken? |

| It's probably too high in sodium. I'd start with rice or potato and add in chicken when you get some.

| Thanks I assumed so...I went with just plain rice with low sod chicken broth last night. He ate that up. He still has had yellow diarreah a few times this morning (sorry gross I know) so we're off to the vet this afternoon. At least he's not vomiting anymore. But he won't eat anything other than the rice. He's playing some but not like himself and I can tell when his tummy is bothering him because he shakes and paces. Any suggestions until I can get him in at 4? |

| Yellow diarrhea, shaking and pacing would have my a bit concerned about something like pancreatitis. Did he get anything fatty yesterday? Don't forget to take astool sample if possible.

| It is on the ASPCA list for plants toxic to dogs. ASPCA | Toxic and Non-Toxic Plants I would just call the emergency clinic in your area and ask them.
