6yr old dog sick!! okay, not a yorkie. but i didnt know where else to go! he is a beagle. the most recognized trait of our Bo is how much he eats and how excited he gets at dinner time. When I got home last night, I fed him and gave him water. he wouldnot touch his food, but drank alot of water. then i heard a wierd sloshing and grunting noise, walked into the living room, and Bo had thrown up white liquid everywhere! Now, it has been about 18 hours with the same food from last night still in his bowl.we have hand fed him some ham, to keep him from getting too hungry... We are planning on taking him to the vet tomorrow, but anyone have any idea whats going on?

How is he now? Could he have possibly gotten into something while you were gone? Any diarrhea? Please let us know how you make out tomorrow.

| Does he keep vomiting? Has he passed any bowel movements? He could have an obstruction. So glad you are taking him to the vet.

Oh, dear! Please don't feed him ham as it can trigger pancreatitis. Had he eaten ham before he got sick?

Hi. yesterday was a bit stressful. The vet diagnosed him with a Respiratory infection. He was throwing up bile/snot. Just like humans, dogs get sick to their stomachs when sinuses start to mess up. He also said since Bo is getting older now, that human food will indeed give him pancreatis, so no more treats for him Thanks for all the concerns.

Glad to hear that Bo is on the road to recovery. But I don't think some chicken & rice would be a bad thing for his tummy.
