| Experiences with Advantage?? Hi All, I wanted to find out experiences with advantage (flea treatment) for a 3 pound yorkie?? My sweetie (JB) is a year and a half, very allergic and delicate (anything he eats other than his dry food will send him to the ER with non stop vomiting!!!), The vet told us to apply it on Sunday, and Im very skeptic of it.. I dont feel comfortable putting this type of stuff on him.. Please help if you have any info!! Thanks! |

| Advantage I haven't used it on my Dorkie yet; but, it has saved my daughter's cat's life. He is allergic to everything including fleas. He is the same as your Yorkie about food. We have to watch everything to make sure he doesn't eat the other pets' food. Anyway, we spent almost 6 monthes trying to nurse him to health before trying the advantage. He was down to 8 lbs and looked like a living skeleton. He did nothing at all but lay around. A month after his first Advantage dose, he had gained 4 pounds and is pestering the fool out of our other cat. I asked the vet about putting it on my 1.5 lb Dorkie (10 wks) and he said it was fine. He also said they put it on 2 day old puppies. I will definately be using it on him once he gets out of hospital from his kidney problems. |
