| Rashes? HELP! So i took Honey out to the little dog park we have here on post and she got filthy. So i gave her a bath and as i was drying her i noticed her tummy first. I know that yorkies skin is sensitive so i just figured she'd scratched it. But what i'm really afraid of is the thing thats on her coochie. It looks sorta like a lil bump. It doesnt bother her b/c i touched it and tried to wipe it and she didnt flinch but i'm really afraid that it might be something bad! So before i call the vet (since theyre not open today anyway...) i wanted to see if anyone has ever seen this before to give me some kind of idea of what i'm workin w/ here. Any help would be GREAT!

| I hope it is nothing serious. maybe it is just ant bites or something simple. I would watch it 24-48 hrs and try to not let her lick it..if you notice she is good luck |

| I posted pictures a month ago of Tricksie, she had the same thing, it even spread to her shoulders. I gave her 1/4 teas. of Benedryl twice a day and put Hydrocortisone cream on her. She is on Comfortis for fleas but that must have been what was wrong, found one tiny flea. She must be allergic to them. Good luck, it always happens on a week-end.

| I used that too and rubbed it in really good and just played with her or held her for a while so that she wouldn't lick it off.

| I am sorry you are going through all this. Maybe if you tell the vet that it is an emergency and you will take any appointment that cancels. Maybe that can get you in sooner. Please keep us updated. |
