| yogurt is puking up strange things yogurt is almost 6 months old for the past 2 days he has been puking up this strange thing. it didnt look like the kind of vomit that he puked back when he was 3 months old. this was strange. its not watery or anything infact it looks like his poo. its yellowy and stick like. the first time he brought it up i thought i was seeing things cuz he swallowed it right back down just after it touched my pants ( he lays on my lap when we are watching tv). it happened again tonight, and he ate it again. this time's was a little soft, he vomitted it and it stained his blankie a little just before he ate it again. its very strange because everytime it happened it seemed like it was still half inside his mouth because he just swallowed it so quick. suggestions please? p.s i dont know if this is related but it turns out the place where he was from was a puppy mill. i got fooled by his "breeder" who showed me his "parents" when i first saw him. only after he started to get sick and i called the "breeder" for help that she turned all stone cold on me and told me she's busy and to call her back later. i googled her and found out she's been previously inspected by AAS. no wonder yogurt even came home with 3 broken paw bones....how foolish was i to accept the breeder's explaination of "oh he is small and still growing thats why his paw is a little weaken and walks a little funny" |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I really think I would get his throat looked at...this doesn't sound like normal vomiting, not that vomiting is "normal".

| When Pao was a pup, he ate poop and threw up poop once. It was't pleasant. I think it is not normal, probably a visit to the vet will be good.

| It sounds a little like stomach bile... However I'd take him in to the vet as soon as you can! poor little guy, he has been through so much already! Broken paws? From the breeder? That makes me angry I hope he is ok and will feel better soon ! Bring a sample in to the vet so they can find out exactly what it is he is throwing up.

| thanks. I am waiting for him to do it again and collect a sample of it. He eats normal and is super energetic as always. But he is always energetic even when the vet said he should be less energetic and should be really tired from his mini operation a while ago. |
