| HELP! My yorkie puppy ate something and is acting strange My 7 month old yorkie puppy ate something about 2 1/2 hours ago and he is acting strange. I think it was plastic but I didn't see it so I don't know. We induced vomiting and he threw up but won't eat or drink. It seems like his limbs are numb because he can't stand or hold his head up. He is sleeping, heart beat is fine and breathing slow. He is not getting any worse or better. Should I be worried or will this pass? |

| Anytime an otherwise healthy dog...young or old...suddenly has trouble walking or holding his head up...something is WRONG!!! Please get your little guy to an emergency vet ASAP. The only thing we here on this board can do is pray and hope for the best for your little one. Take care and please keep us updated.

| He needs to see a vet immediately and there are some things that inducing vomiting doesn't work for or it could make it worse. It's always best to ask the vet first. I hope he is okay.

| Please take him to the vet. This is not normal behavior for a Yorkie.
