| Enema Expectations Ok I need some advice. Hallie had an enema today b/c she had a blockage. She has had diarhhea all afternoon and I mean ALL afternoon since about 2. Has anyone ever experienced this and if so what can i expect? I keep thinking she can't possibly have anything left and then she goes again. Advice very appreciated! thank you |

| Honestly, I have never heard of dogs receiving enemas. So, I am curious as to what other members of YT have to say about this. I do hope Hallie feels better soon. Hugs and kisses sent her way.

| Call the vet - Sabrina had an enema at the vets (eating cat food stopped her up from one end to the other) and afterwards her kept her for the afternoon and she was fine! Got home - no problem, just one tired, hungry pup. It should not give them diarhea, my vet said it's just water etc. (In fact - it was fleet enema). |

| I was told to expect diarhhea since it was cleaning her out (the enema he used was just water as well). I brought her home straight from the vets so maybe that is why. She is sleeping now and drinking water. I am planning on staying up with her all night and if she is still having the diarhhea in the morning I will take her back to the vet. |
