| Prayers Please This just happened about 30-45 minutes ago.... Maximus was sitting on dh's lap and he jumped off (I still don't know why dh wasn't "holding" him, I'm very upset). When he fell, I was in the other room, I heard a thud and hollering and whimpering. I immediately ran in there and dh told me what happened. I checked him out and everything seemed fine. I loved on him, glared at dh, while he preceded to tell me what happened and reprimend him for having him on his lap. I put him in his crate. Dh got him out a few minutes later and was watching him and he hollered for me. Every time Maximus would look up he would kind of fall over, then he started scooting backwards on his belly with his legs sprawled out. Scary. I was about in tears. We gave him some Yorkie Yummies and the first two or three, he would put in his mouth (even do "sit" command without falling), but he wasn't crunching. I accidently spilled some on the floor and he ran and gobbled them up (with crunching noises). A few minutes later, he pee'd and poo'd. It is going on 11 pm. Dh is so concerned because he isn't acting all hyper and "wild". He said he will be "sick" if anything is wrong with him. I know he feels bad. I am still kind of ticked with him, but I know he didn't do it on purpose. Please say a prayer for Maximus that he recovers. I'm sure I won't get much sleep tonight doing checks on him. If he seems to get worse or act more off, I will definitely take him to the vet. I pray that he just is a bit dazed from the fall and he will be back to his rowdy self in the morning. He does seem like he is getting better a little bit every few minutes. I will update tomorrow on how he is doing. Thanks.

| Kendra, your entire family are in my thoughts and prayers. Especially poor little Maximus and your poor poor hubby. Accidents happen - even when you are holding on to these little guys they can escape. I can't tell you how many times I have almost had one take a flying dive from my arms. |

| I hope he is better this morning and that you survived the night! How scary that is. They are so wiggly, and it is so easy for them to jump before you know it. Plus, most of them think they are 10 feet tall and bullet proof anyways, and that doesn't help anything. Please let us know how he is this morning!

| How is your baby this morning? If he's anything like my Lola, he's fearless. Mine makes me crazy! They are so fast and accidents happen. I hope all went well through the night. Please let us know how he is. |

| Thanks. Ya'll are so kind. Maximus did well and is doing well. My dh (who is a truck driver) left for work this a.m. and he has already called twice to check on him. He is playing, eating, drinking, pooing, peeing, barking. I am pretty sure he is ok, and probably was just dazed a bit after the initial landing. Dh said he landed on his head and all we could think about was brain damage. He has got lots of loving x 100 since the accident. We tried to let him sleep with us last night, but he kept wanting to burrow under the covers and we were afraid that he would end up falling off the bed. Dh made the comment this a.m. that he would rather see bows in his head then for him to be sick/injured. Thank you again for all the good thoughts and prayers. I would just be devastated if anything happened to him. Dh was pretty shook up last night, and we were both sick at our stomachs. I'm so happy he is doing better today.
