| Delilah is not eating or being herself! Hello everyone. Delilah is sick and we have been to the vets twice and they still can't figure out what is going on. So I am turning to my wonderful and knowledgeable friends here at YT. Symptoms: Shaking, Not eating (I have tried everything - boiled chicken/rice/cottage cheese mixture, baby food stage 2 chicken with gravy, kibbles, scrambled egg, peanut butter, cheese, carrots, cheerios, chicken jerky, every treat I have in the house) nothing is working. She has no energy and does not even bark at everything like she normally does. She did have a bit of a temp two nights ago at the vets of 103. something I believe. Today she has eaten about 12 cheerios and small piece of cheese. She is drinking okay though. Could use improvement. Vet visit #1 on 12/22- they did blood work and everything looks totally normal so they put her on Cerenia they said that it would help settle her stomach. Watch her for 48 hours and if she does not get better bring her back. Vet visit #2 on 12/23 they put her on Clavamox twice a day to combat any infection that she may be having. So still today we are in the same boat. Does anyone have any ideas on what to feed her or what is going on? Any information would be helpful at this point. Sorry for this happening on Christmas Eve. Merry Christmas everyone.

| Oh I should add that she has not eaten anything out of the normal and she is 3.8 lbs when she was weighted at the vets. Hope I have been descriptive enough. Thank you again.

| Every once in awhile Keegan will go off his feed but he will come back in a couple of days. Usually it is when I have a couple of days off in a row & he gets special treats....I think he's spoiled!! |

| Sorry Delilah is not feeling well. Hoping it's just a little bug or something. Does she have diahrea? Has she vomited any? Recently, when Diva wasn't acting normal or eating, just laying around, I came across some vomit kind of under the bed and assumed that must've been Diva. She did end up just having a bug that lasted a few days. Just make sure she's drinking, maybe give her some nutrical. If the symptoms continue by the weekend, I would take her back in.. Hope she gets well soon!

| Poor baby. She obviously has some sort of infection since she had a fever of 103. I'm thinking the Clavamox either isn't the right antibiotic for her particular infection or that it is upsetting her tummy. She is so small, I'd be so worried about dehydration. If all she will eat is Cheerios and cheese, that's what I'd give her. Hopefully the antibiotics will start to work. If she refuses to eat, you can puree some chicken and rice and force feed her with a big syringe. |

| sick furbabies Bebe had same thing on the 23rd, shaking not eating and just not herself at all. She was vomiting so I took her to vet and they gave her cerenia also. It lasted about 48 hrs. Now 2 of my other furbabies have started same symptoms. I called vet this morning and waiting for her to call me back. I was wondering if anyone knows can they pass it on to each other because when I asked vet's office the girl there thought that it was strange and that she has never heard anything like that before.

| Sorry that I have not been on here to update this. Delilah is doing better. It does seem contagious because her sister Pebbles got it right after Delilah was around her. Just not as bad (I hope). Delilah is still not being herself totally, but she is eating and starting to play. Things are looking up. Thank you everyone who replied to this thread. I was very much in need of the support.

Sorry haven't been on. Thanks, they are doing much better they all ended up getting it. Vet said it was type of stomache flu. Had to give them all cerenia. Thank God it's over with I hate when they're sick. I hope your furbabies are also doing better.
