| Help!!!! i woke up this morning and found out that choco's right eye was smaller than his left eye. it seems he cannot open it completely.... i am not sure what is wrong. nothing happened yesterday. he was normal. can anyone help me??

| is it swollen do you mean? as that can be allergies or are you talking the pupil? If it is the eye i would go directly to an opthamologist with mine as eyes are nothing to mess with but if just swollen then probably allergic reaction to something -- is he rubbing it? |

| hes squinting. its not swollen... hes just squinting. and hes rubbing it. i just called the vet and they said he might've scratched it or he has something stuck in his eyes, and its irritated.... they said to rinse with saline solution. how do i rinse his eyes?

| if you have saline solution make sure it is that and then open eye up and squirt the saline in there a few times but if this does not work i would go in and have them look at eye to make sure there is not a scratch in it as then you will need to have some meds and a patch and cone so he does not irritate it more |

Donating YT 10K Club Member | He really needs to see a vet. Eyes respond better to quick treatment. They will put dye in his eye to see if it's scratched or punctured and you'd need medicine to place in it. You also need to know if the scratch or puncture is located in his cornea. Damage there if not treated properly ....can lead to vision loss and/or the loss of his eye.
