| One week old puppy sick!!!! Urgent!!! Please help Hi, We had a litter of five puppies a week age. One of the puppies is a lot smaller even though they were all healthy at the start and the same size. We are extremely worried as she is lethargic and dehydrated and does not drink from her mum at all. I would like to find out how much milk we should give her and how often. As well as what other advice we should head. Thanks and I hope someone can help. |

| She is getting colder and is starting to shake as well. I have her in a blanket so she gets a little heat from my body. |

| You need to get her to the vet ASAP. They can hydrate her and show you what and how much to feed. Little ones like that will go down hill FAST. Good Luck! Keep us posted. |

| Check her palate... Does milk come out the nose when the pup drinks? It could be cleft palate. This is not uncommon for these small babies. (I just mention this because it sounds like what one of my pups went through.) Definitely get to the vet!
