| Check her gums -- are they pink or are they white/greyish? When did she eat last and what?

| do you have an emergency vet to take her too? I would take her in if I were you. At the very least give them a call and see what they say. This happened to one of my yorkies and I believe he had a parasite. Some antibiotics and bland food for a week fixed him up. |

| It sounds like some type of parasite, possibley coccidia as there is a foamy bile vomiting and mucousy stools. The vet will give you Albon for this and it can be cured, but if left untreated it can cause severe dehydration. If you cannot get her to the vet tonight, just make sure she gets the fluids she has lost replaced... I'd give her pedialyte and nutri-cal to keep her good until morning. I think the general rule of thumb is 2x's what was lost needs to be given back. A good way to tell if she is hydrated is to pinch the scruff of her neck and let it go .. it should bounce back to normal immediately.. if it stays up for a bit she is getting dehydrated, this will help you watch her well. I'd also be concerned she had gotten into something, is that possible? because the side effects of poisening are also similar to those of parasites. |

| I'd guess parasite too. Keep her hydrated until you can get to the vet tomorrow. Take a stool sample with you if you can so they can prescribe the correct meds. Good luck.

| the two things with that kind of vomitting i would rule out is xray to make sure no blockage and pancreatitis -- get to vet as that amount of vomitting is too much for a small dog - hospital told me with dex he is 11lbs and after vomitting 6 times he had to be on fluids. Do you think she swallowed anything or did you give her any treats or people food in the past few days? High fatty foods will trigger pancreatitis so a small piece of pork could trigger pancreatitis |

| the only thing I gave her that I can remember was a little turkey...she's resting quietly now I'm gonna just stay up and make sure she's ok...I gave her a drop of nutracal...and I dipped my finger in some water (I know that's not enough) but she's resting and I'm watching her...her gums are still pink...and she hasn't vomited in over an hour now...this is not good for my nerves though trust me |

| I would say parasite Asha is just getting over vomiting and diarrhea. Took her to the ER vet two days in a row. She was diagnosed as having a parasite, and she never leaves my site. I too couldn't figure out where it came from until it was explained to me that we can even give it to them by carrying it in our shoes, clothes, etc. Antibiotics, probiotics, and bland foods finally fixed it and she has had not vomiting in a few days. It is very scary to watch them vomit so much and so quickly. You feel so helpless.
