| Healthy pup SHAKING and TREMBLING - HELP!! Hi guys - I need help! My 9 mo old baby Darwin hasn't been acting right since he came home from the groomer's on Monday. It's the same groomer we always go to, she's the best in town (we've been to her 3 times) and this time, she kept him from 9-6, she had a really busy day. When I picked him up, he seemed anxious, and a bit stressed, at home that evening, he acted fine. The next morning, as I'm leaving for work (he's in his expen) he starts shaking uncontrollably. I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me, but he was totally trembling out of control. When I got home that evening, he was fine once again. Then Wednesday, the shaking starts once again in the morning, he wouldn't touch his kibble, and seemed to be very stressed out, I decided to take him to work with me to monitor him, and throughout the day, he would shake on and off. Especially in the car - when I braked or went over speed bumps. Then today - I took him for a walk, and we went into a store, and I picked him up in my arms, and he starts shaking again. His entire little body tenses up and he shakes from ears to tail. I don't know what to do when he has these episodes, or what is causing them. Otherwise, he's been peeing and pooping fine, and today, he didn't eat breakfast, but he ate his dinner enthusiastically. Will the shaking stop? I want my happy, relaxed, goofy pup back! Any advice you can offer me would be greately appreciated. |

Bella Boo & Diggy Too! Donating GS Member | Diggy shakes everytime we leave the house. Just like people some have anxiety when leaving home. Id have him double checked by vet but sounds like anxiety and stress. I have to keep Diggy life very calm and introduce new things slowly he is almost 2 and still trembles and shakes when he is in certain situations. Hope thats all it is, but like I said maybe have vet look him over to get some peace of mind.

| That sounds awful!! Poor baby! Maybe after a relaxing weekend he'll be back to normal. I learned how to groom my own babies after I saw the girls at the grooming shop I went to (a very recommended groomer- has a two month wait to schedule an appointment and always did a beautiful job) being really mean to a VERY scared dog. I thought, there is no way I am ever bringing him back here. I have been grooming them ever since and actually really love it! Back to your pup- it sounds like he had a really bad experience. Poor baby! Make sure you stay calm in the morning and don't stress about leaving him, because he can pick up on that and will get even more stressed.
