| Daisie Mae/toy fox terrier update Just wanted some prayers, Daisie was in labor most of the night, and no we don't have a 24hr vet around here. So am taking her in to the vet when it opens. My vet isn't in his office today, so taking her someplace else. I very much care about the pups, but Daisie is More important. Praying both will be fine.

| Daisie is fine! The vet did some figuring and told me the pups may not be ready and might not make it. I said "that's fine, my main worry is Daisie, if they could save the pups great, but she was in labor all night" Guess what? They were ready! She never would have been able to have them on her own. There was 5 of them! All are doing well and have the markings of Samson at the moment. I got to go back with her, I didn't watch them cut her, but he figured 3 pups so had 3 people back there....but they kept coming! So I got to help! It was awesome. Then as he's stitching her up I asked how much to have her spayed! Should have asked sooner, he would have done it right then. Can you tell I've been a nervous wreck! I'm still shaking. Oh, had to take her to Chariton, my vet wasn't in today. And a friend called Avondale on the south side of DM(1/2 hour drive), they said start price $1000.00, could be more. The vet in Chariton charged me, total bill, $128.05. Thank God! Ok I'll shut up now. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers. I'll get pics soon.

| I am so glad you took Daisie to the vet! Sounds like you could have lost both her and the puppies if you hadn't. I'm glad mom and puppies are doing well. |
