Drooling in Sleep Today Epsilon started drooling in his sleep... a LOT. The whole side of his face gets sopping wet. He took a nap with my while laying on my chest and he left a big wet spot on my shirt. Why is he doing this? Should I be worried? He seems to be acting normal otherwise. Also, I just got sick yesterday and had to stay home from school and work today because I was so sick. Do you think maybe he's drooling because I'm sick? It's very strange and I'm worried about him.

Thank you Panama for your reply. Well, I don't know how much drooling he did last night, he wasn't wet when I woke up (but who knows how long he was up for). However, he did throw up. It was bright yellow. I'm gonna keep a close eye on him today. In the mean time, can anyone from Denver recommend a good vet? I just moved here.

No one has any ideas as to why he could be drooling? He seems to be doing better today though, no drool. But he been awake pretty much all morning.

I would keep an eye on it...It could be nothing or it could mean something...Not to scare you, but drooling is one of a handful of symptons of Hepatic Encephalopathy ~ Keep an eye on him...

| I wouldn't be concerned if he has stopped doing it excessively. He probably had an upset stomach. If it continues in large amounts, see the vet.

He does not have an over or under bite. I went to school for a couple hours and he was in his crate. He didn't have any drool when I got home, so that's a good sign. I think it was just a random thing yesterday. Maybe since he threw up, he feels better. I dunno. But I'm still keeping an eye on him.
